Why This Work Matters
I thought I was writing a book about artificial intelligence. Instead, I discovered something much more personal.
My conversations with AI began opening deeper conversations with myself. As I explored my childhood, career, fears, dreams, and defining moments, I began recognizing patterns I had never connected before.
That experience became The Unexpected Mirror and deepened my belief that our own lives contain wisdom we may not yet recognize. Sometimes we simply need thoughtful questions—and a safe place to explore the answers.

I have always been drawn to learning, creativity, service, and community. When I’m not working, I may be writing, singing with the Sierra Master Chorale, supporting the arts through InConcert Sierra, or participating in organizations connected with leadership, service, and aviation.
I have always been endlessly curious about people—how we grow, adapt, and discover possibilities we didn't know existed.
That curiosity shapes everything I do. It is also why I find such joy in helping people recognize what they are capable of and turn their experience into something meaningful.
